Marc Jacobs Beauty Gone Bad (216) Lust for Lacquer
Marc Jacobs Beauty Gone Bad (216) Lust for Lacquer ($28.00 for 0.16 fl. oz.) is described as a “coral red.” It’s a bold, bright coral-orange with warm undertones and a glossy finish. Hourglass Muse (P, $28.00) is pinker. MAC Morange (LE, $15.00) is warmer, less red. MAC Ablaze (LE, $15.00) is more muted. Illamasqua Temper (P, $22.00) is lighter, less red. This shade is part of the full coverage range, which is quite fitting, as it is intensely pigmented with full opacity. I did notice that it looked almost “bubbled” in places, which I think may be due to the fact that is more light-medium in thickness. The consistency is almost gel-like and creamy, but it doesn’t slide around. It’s not a gloss that feels like you’re wearing. It doesn’t bleed or feather on me, and it lasted for five and a half hours. The formula is mostly non-sticky (just towards the end it feels slightly tacky), is mint-scented, and is lightly hydrating on me.
