MAC Dddevilish Lipstick
MAC Dddevilish Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “pastel hot pink [with a Matte finish].” It’s a bright, medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had mostly opaque color payoff with a creamy, glide-on texture that was easy to apply and use. This shade wore well for four and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. MAC Silly (LE, $17.00) is lighter (95% similar). Maybelline Pink Sugar (P, $7.99) is warmer (90% similar). Colour Pop Fetch (P, $5.00) is warmer (90% similar). Bite Beauty Sweety (LE, $24.00) is warmer (90% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
MAC Cloud Gait Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “pastel turquoise [with a Lustre finish].” It’s a light-medium, seafoam green with warmer undertones and a pearly sheen. It had semi-sheer color payoff, which is consistent with the Lustre finish, but the application was terrible. The color clumped together, attached to every imperfection on my lips, and was streaky. I think you’ll need at least a lip primer, if not a good lip liner underneath. It would be better patted over another lip color to alter/mix-in. The color lasted for two hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. MAC Vintage Radio (LE, $17.00) is lighter, more pigmented, warmer (85% similar). Colour Pop Raw (P, $5.00) is darker, brighter, more pigmented (85% similar). Colour Pop Charm (P, $5.00) is lighter, brighter, more pigmented (85% similar). NYX Pistachio (P, $6.00) is lighter, brighter, more pigmented (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
MAC Gold Xixi Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “pastel lemony yellow [with a Lustre finish].” It’s a bright, medium yellow with strong, warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had semi-sheer color coverage with a glaze-like consistency that applied without tugging, but the consistency seemed to clump up on itself, like Cloud Gait, but this one didn’t seem to be quite as bad. It was also less streaky. This shade lasted for two and a half hours. NYX Citron (P, $6.00) is less shimmery, lighter, brighter (90% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
MAC Plum Princess Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “pastel plummy lavender [with a Matte finish].” It’s a muted, grayed lavender purple with neutral-to-cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had almost opaque color payoff when I tried it. The texture seemed smooth and glided on without dragging, but the finish was more unflattering on–a lot of the more recent mattes have had a more velvety consistency overall, but this emphasized the texture of my lips more. It lasted for four and a half hours but was somewhat drying with some color pulling noticeably into lip lines. MAC Fresh Amour (LE, $19.00) is lighter, cooler (85% similar). NYX Playdate (P, $6.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Illamasqua Posture (P, $24.00) is lighter (85% similar). Kat Von D Ayesha (P, $20.00) is darker, less glossy (80% similar). Kat Von D Requiem (P, $20.00) is lighter, warmer, less glossy (80% similar). Colour Pop Koala (P, $6.00) is lighter, brighter, less glossy (80% similar). MAC Vermillion Vee Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “clean, true red [with a Matte finish].” It’s a bright, medium coral-red with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had very good pigmentation with a smooth, creamy consistency that applied with even coverage. The color lasted for six hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. Colour Pop Cozy (P, $6.00) is less glossy (95% similar). MAC Rozz (LE, $17.00) is cooler (90% similar). MAC True Red (LE, $17.00) is lighter, brighter, warmer (90% similar). MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus 2 (LE, $17.00) is darker (90% similar). Bite Beauty Rosehip (P, $24.00) is darker, more muted (90% similar). Clinique Poppy Pop (P, $18.00) is lighter, more muted, cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Tilt (P, $22.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). MAC Mangrove (LE, $17.00) is cooler (90% similar). Charlotte Tilbury 1975 Red (LE, $32.00) is darker (90% similar). NARS Annabella (P, $32.00) is darker, glossier (90% similar). Kat Von D Gold Blooded (P, $21.00) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Barbecue (LE, $17.00) is darker, warmer (90% similar). Colour Pop Succulent (P, $6.00) is darker, less glossy (90% similar). Bite Beauty Candied Maple (LE, $24.00) is darker (85% similar). NARS Carmen (P, $32.00) is darker, glossier (85% similar).
